April 10, 2017 – The agency, founded in 2010, is merging with Stretch Mrk and welcoming La Boîte interactive to its offices. Dada communications is announcing a merge with Stretch Mrk to form one larger agency. The union between dada’s rigour and curiosity, and Stretch Mrk’s creativity and audacity, will allow the agency, operating under the name dada communications, to undertake a brand-new positioning with the signature “Making our mark with agility.”
Dada was founded in 2010 by Manon Goudreault. Over time, it won several major accounts, including Voyages Traditours, PhysioExtra, Vast-Auto (Auto Value, Auto Mécano and Octo services plus), Desjardins, the Fondation de la BAnQ and Hydro-Québec. This new merger will add the names Unibroue (for Canadian and American markets), Skotidakis and La Paysanne – just to name a few – to its list of clients.
In order to expand its service offer, dada is also welcoming La Boîte Interactive to its offices, a Quebec start-up comprised of four ex-Moment Factory members, which specializes in interactivity and technological art. These young creatives have moved into the creative studio and are participating in different meetings and mandates, allowing dada to enrich its multidisciplinary team of 20-some people.
The agency’s leadership ensured by two women
The agency’s presidency will continue to be assured by Manon Goudreault (formerly strategic planning manager at Les Évadés; communications and investors relations VP at Saputo; and manager of communications, marketing, government affairs and customer service at the Agence métropolitaine de transport). Andréanne Isabelle Poitras (formerly president at Stretch Mrk, account manager at St-Louis Communications and sales manager at CSP Bacardi) will take on the roles of Vice President and Associate.
“We both believe that success comes with enjoying our work and taking on new challenges along with our clients,” said Andréanne Isabelle Poitras, former president of Stretch Mrk. “It’s our way of allowing the dada spirit to live on in an industry in dire need of curiosity and audacity,” adds Goudreault, President of dada.
