Dada communications was chosen by InterContinental Montreal to market its new ballroom and conference room in the historic Nordheimer building, currently undergoing reconstruction. The extensive initiative includes a virtual reality video, produced by UNTLD. It was unveiled during a public relations event held on the construction site, with a production worthy of InterContinental’s reputation. Let’s not forget that InterContinental was the first Four-Diamond rated hotel to open its doors in Old Montreal.
“360 virtual reality is a technology that’s rarely used in the hotel industry, but it allows InterContinental Montreal’s clients to experience a total immersion and discover the new ballroom and conference room as if they were there,” says Manon Goudreault, President of dada communications.
The new ballroom will accommodate 300-400 people, in addition to two adjoining spaces: a pre-function area, as well as a spectacular hall leading, as of 2017, to a terrace featuring striking views of Old Montreal. A new investment of $6 million will provide members of the business community and event planners with spaces capable of meeting the experiential needs of 21st-century clients in an elegant and timeless setting.
Dada communications was chosen as the official agency to create all internal and external communications for this major construction project. The agency was also mandated to revamp the hotel’s positioning, in order to highlight its distinctive attributes and to imprint the institution’s brand in the proposed client experience, as well as in its overall communications.
